Time to change HVAC systems?

Energy prices usually are in the lead when inflation hits us, so you may want to decide if you should replace your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system with something newer and far more efficient.

Age is a big factor. While some well-maintained HVAC systems last 20 years or more, most don’t.

Furnaces and boilers can wear out after 15 years and air conditioners and heat pumps fade after 10 years or so.

Another consideration: Does your system break down often or require costly repairs?
Or maybe some rooms are too cold or too hot. Failing equipment, poor insulation, or duct problems could be the cause.
