Don’t fall for this HVAC myth

Some people mistakenly think that ratcheting the thermostat down to an unusually cold level will make the AC system cool more quickly.

On the contrary, it won’t cool your house or business any more quickly – although it may make your system work harder and cost more money.

It’s better to set the thermostat at the temperature you really desire and let the system function normally.
