Condensing boiler not working?

The condensate pipe often is the reason your boiler stops working, at least in freezing temperatures.

The condensate pipe, which usually is plastic, runs water from the boiler to an external drain system.

But when the condensate pipe becomes frozen it can bring the boiler to a halt.

You can avoid this problem by insulating the pipe outside or by turning the boiler’s heating control to maximum.
