New York State Programs & Incentives

Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) ProgramFinancial support for completing an energy study to identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce energy costs and incorporate clean energy into capital planning. The study can determine whether upgrading to energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment is the right solution for your business.

Federal Programs & Incentives

Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)— Businesses can access IRA tax credits for energy efficiency investments in commercial building retrofits or new construction projects, including HVAC upgrades.

Con Edison Programs & Incentives

HVAC Rebates—Rebates for installing energy-efficient HVAC equipment, such as heat pumps, natural gas hot water boilers, natural gas furnaces, heating and hot water controls, and more.

Con Edison Savings for Multifamily Buildings – Equipment rebates for multifamily buildings, including HVAC, lighting and controls, weatherization, energy management systems, and low flow measures. Additional savings for income-eligible buildings.

National Grid Programs & Incentives

Custom Energy Efficiency Programs (New York City and Long Island)—Incentives and support for energy efficiency upgrades in existing buildings (including efficiency improvements in existing heating processes).

High-Efficiency Commercial Gas Equipment Incentives (New York City and Long Island)—Rebates for upgrading to high-efficiency natural gas heating equipment, such as furnaces, boiler reset controls, steam traps, and more.

Multifamily Program (Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island) – National Grid provides support for prescriptive incentive measures, custom incentive measures, direct install measures, and a one-pipe steam system retrofitting program for Downstate multifamily customers.

Multifamily Program (Long Island and Far Rockaway Peninsula) – National Grid provides support for prescriptive incentive measures, custom incentive measures, direct install measures, and a one-pipe steam system retrofitting program for Downstate multifamily customers.

Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program– Equipment replacement and rebates designed to reduce electricity and/or natural gas use in apartment and condominium complexes, including lighting upgrades, water saving measures, occupancy controls, and pipe insulation.

 

PSEG Long Island Programs & Incentives

HVAC Rebates—Rebates for upgrading to energy-efficient HVAC equipment, such as room air cleaners, air conditioners, heat pumps, and more.

RG&E Programs & Incentives

Commercial and Industrial Rebates (HVAC and Plumbing) — Rebates for installing high-efficiency boilers, furnaces, unit heaters, controls and thermostats, steam traps, demand control ventilation, and more.

Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program – Equipment replacement and rebates designed to reduce electricity and/or natural gas use in apartment and condominium complexes, including lighting upgrades, water saving measures, occupancy controls, and pipe insulation.
